Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is HDJ Déménagements France - Europe, to be completed (legal form and SIRET), 77290 Mitry-Mory. Contact: hdj.demenagemant@gmail.com or 06 51 29 99 10.
What data do we collect?
- Quote request: departure city, arrival city, preferred date and email address. You may also give us other information by phone or email (volume, floor, address).
- Distance calculator: the cities you enter are processed in your browser. They are neither sent nor stored, unless you then request a quote for that journey.
- Technical data: as with any website, our hosting provider may record your IP address and connection information for security purposes.
Why, and on what legal basis?
- To respond to your quote request and, where applicable, prepare the removal contract: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- To comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations (Article 6.1.c).
- To keep the website secure (legitimate interest, Article 6.1.f).
We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your consent, and we never sell it.
Who can access it?
Your data is intended for the HDJ Déménagements team. It may be processed by our technical service providers (hosting, email), who act on our instructions.
How long do we keep it?
- Quote requests not followed up: 3 years maximum after the last contact.
- Customers: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the legal retention periods (for example 10 years for accounting records).
Cookies and third-party services
This website uses no advertising cookies or audience measurement tools. If we add one, we will ask for your consent beforehand.
To display the site, fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: your browser therefore shares your IP address with Google. “Google Maps” links open a third-party service, governed by its own privacy policy.
What are your rights?
You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, object to it, or request its portability. You can also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.
To exercise your rights, write to us at hdj.demenagemant@gmail.com. We may ask you for proof of identity if in doubt.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07).
